Description
This is an old c1905 craftsman style brass beam light with a 7″ Sheffield shade in mint condition. The base of the light measures 3 1/4″ dia x 2 5/8″h. The shade is 7″ dia x 4 ½”h and has a 2 ¼” fitter. Overall drop is 7″. The shade does not have to be removed for a bulb change. This light is meant for installation on a wood beam so will not cover a junction box. The easy fix is to have a 5″ x 5″ brass plate cut on which to mount this light to. The canopy and socket have aged to a patina that only time can provide. This light accepts a standard base bulb and will come to you with updated wiring ready to install.
