Second City Salvage is thrilled to offer this super cool pendant with a waffle glass dental/stalagmite (or bee’s butt) shade. All of the components of this light are brass. Overall, it measures 5 1/2″w x 34″ drop. The shade itself is 5 1/2″w x 6″h and has a 4″ fitter. The beefy chain is 19″ long and the canopy measures 4 3/4″dia. x 4″h. The shade is a Holophane stalagmite or dental shade with a waffle pattern which is more rare than common. It is clearly marked on the tip of the shade, but difficult to capture in a photo (last picture). It is in exceptional condition, but there are a few nicks which are consistent with the age of the shade. Not noticeable unless scrutinized up close and I did my best to capture these flaws. The great thing about these shades is that you can use a lower wattage bulb because they throw out a ton of light. In my photos, I showed it lit up with both a 60 watt and 7 watt bulb. The difference is amazing! Recommend using a LED bulb since the shade does have to be removed for a bulb change and those last a LONG time. It accepts a standard base bulb, will come to you with period correct cloth wiring, will be tested and ready to install.
