Second City Salvage is pleased to offer this pair of antique cast bronze Colonial Revival sconces from the late teens or early 1920s. They are in excellent condition and the dark patina is original and untouched and have only been very lightly cleaned. My favorite part about these are the cute little ball pull chains on each socket that are fully operational. They add such a great touch and are original to the lights. The casting is very intricate with some great incising on the backplate and stem. They are not marked. Each one measures 8 1/2″w x 12 1/2″h and will project 6″ from the wall once installed. Height to the tip of the bulb shown is 13 ½”. Less is more with these guys. Lines are simple and the curves are lovely. They accept standard base bulbs, will come to you tested with updated wiring and modern cross bars needed for install. Drippy candle covers included, but not the hand painted bulbs shown (can be purchased through Rejuvenation). Price is for the pair.
