Description
Second City Salvage is happy to offer this nickel plated pendant from the 1930s. The components are a mix of brass & steel that have all been replated in polished nickel so is completely restored and the price reflects that. I really had no choice because it was painted and once the paint was removed, the finish was pretty much gone. It’s really all about the shade. The shade is hand painted molded custard glass in mint condition that features cute daffodils on four sides and light ribbing. Pretty much one-of-a-kind! A perfect light to hang over a sink in a kitchen in front of a window or maybe even in a bathroom. Overall measurement is 7″w and it will drop 24″ from the ceiling once installed. The canopy is 5 1/2″ dia x 2 3/4″h, the chain 10″ long and the shade itself is 7″w x 5 1/4″h with a 2 ¼” fitter. Socket is a new paddle switch socket. It will come to you with period correct cloth wiring, accepts a standard base bulb and will come with a modern cross bar needed for install.
