Here is a monumental outdoor wall lantern manufactured by Herwig Lighting c1920s in the Craftsman or Arts & Crafts style. It was salvaged from a commercial building in Chippewa Falls, WI that was demolished. It is fabricated of cast iron, has the original Crystal Moss glass and has been fully professionally restored by Herwig which is still in business in Russellville, AR. It accepts a standard base bulb that can be changed by easily unscrewing and removing the bottom panel. Overall measurement is 10″w x 19 1/4″h to the top of the backplate, 30″ to the top of the wall hook and will project 15″ from the wall once installed. The lantern itself is 10″w x 13″h, backplate 5″w x 8″h, chain 16″ long and the wall hook 1 1/2″w x 4″h. Last photo of the listing shows the light in a 1937 Herwig catalog. This light will most definitely make a bold statement at your entryway!
