Lovely antique Victorian c1900 brass pole pendant with some pretty fantastic components. The fitting is a Welsbach “REFLEX” that’s designed for an inverted, or “down burning”, gas shade. Not a standard 3 1/4″ fitter but very close. The shade attaches with an internal wire structure that locks a shade into place. This amazing exterior etched true ruby red shade in the form of a grape cluster is a pretty rare find. Notice the round openings to bring air into the gas burner. The gas parts of course have been removed and I have added a standard base porcelain socket so you can actually use this lovely light. Simple pole and beehive canopy. Perfect for a stairwell, hallway, small entry, pantry, or any number of high ceiling small spaces. 38″ long. Adapted to mount to a modern junction box.
