Description
I have three of these solid brass semi-flush mount two arm ceiling lights that were salvaged from a 1904 mansion in Cedar Rapids, IA. They are fully restored – wiring updated, were stripped of all lacquer, lightly cleaned and will age to a natural patina over time. They measure 16″ w x 5″ w x 10 1/2″ drop. I found a Beardslee catalog page from 1902 that showed some lights that were very similar to these, but unfortunately these do not bear a manufacturer’s mark of any kind. Given the house that they came from, I would say that these were very high end. There might be a couple of dings to the canopies on each one, but the sockets and cast brass socket holders are original as are the bottom cast brass finials that have intricate detailing. They are being offered individually, but buy all three and I’ll offer a discount. Bulbs shown are not included.
