Second City Salvage is offering today this gigantic towel bar by Brasscrafters c1906 that was salvaged from a Chicago residence. Overall, it measures 49 1/4″ w x 3″ projection with the bar area at a very generous 46 ½”. Nickel plating on bar is gone where the brass has shown through and there is also some some loss to the plating on the ends. This finish is original and the Brasscrafters mark is clearly stamped on both ends. Cost to replate in polished nickel will be around $250, but I think this piece is best left alone. If you have the space on your wall, it can accommodate towels for the whole family!
