Description
This transom was salvaged from a St. Paul, MN residence c1890. It is comprised of vibrant magenta, deep amber, blue, crimsom and clear pieces with beveled rectangles on either side and faceted crimsom jewels. It measures 50 1/2″w x 15″h and is framed in zinc. This piece could be installed or hung vertically as well as horizontally. There is one piece that has a tight hairline crack (last photo) that can either be repaired or replaced – your call. Cost for repair can run anywhere from $100-200 depending on how you would like to address it. A lovely piece that would certainly be a focal point in any Victorian setting and a grand example of the Aesthetic era.
