Second City Salvage is offering today this lovely brass pendant that dates to the 1920s that came to me with this hand blown iridescent blown art glass shade. The Canopy, post and bell shade holder was stripped of all paint and this is the original patina that we found underneath. The shade is in mint condition and I am assuming it is original to the fixture. It is hand blown and there is a small “thumbprint” impression to the glass near the fitter (last photo). It is not marked. The pendant has been fully restored with updated period correct cloth wiring, a new socket and a modern crossbar needed for install. It accepts a standard base bulb, measures 4″w and will drop 14 1/2″ from the ceiling once installed. The shade itself is 4″w x 5 1/2″h and has a 2 1/4″ fitter. The canopy is 5 1/2″ dia. x 1 1/2″h. A perfect light for a smaller space or a hallway!
