Description
Second City Salvage is honored to offer this fantastic pair of sidelights that were salvaged from a monumental Chicago residence c1890 on south Michigan Avenue. They have been restored from head to toe and are currently not framed in wood, although they do have new zinc frames. There might be a couple of very small cracks in each one that we have left alone that are not notable, but I have to mention. These are consistent with the age of the pieces and if covered or the glass pieces replaced, would detract from their original beauty. These flaws are not noticeable unless scrutinized up close. Each one measures 11 1/2″w x 58 1/2″h and would be perfect flanking a front door entry or large window. They could be installed either vertically or horizontally and used as transoms as well. Don’t miss these… I have a feeling they won’t last for long. Price is for the pair. We will separate. Message me for a price for one.
