Description
This complete J.L. Mott Iron Works chinaware bidet is a rare find for collectors of vintage plumbing fixtures and architectural relics. It is a stunning example of the Greek Revival style and measures 15″w x 27 ¾”d x 15″h (not including the handles). The original hardware adds to its appeal and authenticity and is in what I would consider to be pristine condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or other condition issues. This piece sat in-place uninstalled in a collector’s Victorian home for the last 70 or so years. The stopper bears the J.L. Mott Iron Works mark and there is a date stamp on the piece of 6.19.11. I am envisioning this piece in a bathroom with the matching J.L. Mott fluted column pedestal sink. It truly is a museum quality piece.
