Description
This is an old arched landing window that dates to the late 1800s, c1880. It is in remarkably good condition with only four hairline cracks that I could find. It was most likely the top sash to a double hung window at some point. What I love about this piece are the round jewels that dot the border and the center design that resembles a moon in light blue and white textured opalescent slag pieces. The cracks that I found are two in each corner top pieces, a green border piece and a very small one in the corner of an amber arched piece. Overall in the frame, it measures 22″w x 33″h. I can have these pieces restored (at your cost0 or they could be left alone. They really are not notable, but I have to mention and are not noticeable unless scrutinized up close. This piece will be a focal point wherever it hangs and is a grand representation of the Aesthetic/Victorian era!
