This is a pair of heavy solid brass sconces with a brushed brass finish by New Metal Crafts from 2006. New Metal Crafts is no longer in business, but was a manufacturer of very high end lighting for decades and had a showroom on Chicago’s gold coast. These lights can be installed with or without the linen shades which actually attach to the wall. These lights are in excellent condition and have been meticulously cared for – they look new. The shades are 11″w x 5 ½”h x 5 ½”h. Overall height of each sconce is 21″ to the top of the candle cover and they are 6 ½”w. Projection without the shades is 3″. The wall plate measures 4″w x 6 ¾”h. Each sconce takes two small base chandelier bulbs. Original retail on these lights was $2100 for the pair and you can own them for a fraction of that. Their simplicity says it all. I have another pair of these with the shades that have a painted black finish that can be used with these as well
