Description
This is a rare wall mount soap dish/holder fabricated of copper plated solid brass by The Brasscrafters. It is stamped The Brasscrafters in two places (on the mounting plate and on the underside) and bears a Patent date of Feb 4 ’02. It was salvaged from a home built in 1905 and measures 4 5/8″w x 3″h and will project 4 ½” from the wall once installed. It is in exceptional condition for it’s age, has a great patina and only a slight loss of the copper plating in the dish which is consistent with age and use (last picture). A great piece to add to your vintage bathroom!
